How to download Pinterest videos.

Three steps, under thirty seconds. Works on iPhone, Android, Mac, and PC — no app install, no signup, no software to download. Here's exactly what to do.

Step 1 — Find the Pinterest video you want

Open Pinterest in your browser or the app and browse to the video you want to save. Make sure it's a single pin — not a board. A board shows many pins together; you need the one specific video pin to download it with our Pinterest video downloader.

Step 2 — Copy the pin link

How you copy depends on your device:

A valid Pinterest pin URL looks like https://pinterest.com/pin/123456789012345678 or the short version https://pin.it/AbCdEfGhI. Both formats work with video-pin.

Step 3 — Paste and download

Go back to video-pin.com, paste the URL into the box at the top of the page, and tap Download. Within a few seconds you'll see the pin's preview and one or more quality options (usually 480p, 720p, or 1080p depending on what Pinterest serves).

Tap the quality you want and the Pinterest video saves to your device. On phones it lands in your Photos or Downloads folder. On computers it appears in your browser's default downloads location.

How to download Pinterest videos on iPhone

iPhones have one minor quirk: Safari saves videos to your Files app rather than directly to Photos. After the download finishes, open the Files app, find your video in Downloads, tap and hold it, and choose Save Video to move it to your Photos library.

If you use the Pinterest iOS app, tap the share icon on the pin, choose Copy Link, then switch to Safari and paste it into video-pin.com.

How to download Pinterest videos on Android

Android is straightforward: the downloaded video goes directly into your Downloads folder, and from there into your Gallery or Photos app within a minute. Chrome and Samsung Internet both handle the save automatically.

How to download Pinterest videos on desktop

On Mac or PC, paste the URL on video-pin.com, click Download, and choose a quality. The video saves to your browser's default Downloads folder, ready to drag into Premiere, After Effects, or wherever you need it.

A note on respect

Everything you download was created by someone. Personal offline viewing is fine. Republishing, monetizing, or claiming credit for someone else's work isn't — please don't do it. When in doubt, credit the original creator and link back to their pin.
